The information we collect depends on how you use IslamIQ Trivia.

Account and Authentication Information

IslamIQ Trivia may use third-party sign-in providers, including Google and, where available, Apple. When you authenticate through one of these providers, we may receive information made available by that provider, such as, an account identifier, your email address, your name or profile information, where provided by the authentication provider, and authentication credentials or tokens required to securely authenticate your account. We also create and maintain an internal IslamIQ account identifier. IslamIQ does not receive your Google or Apple account password.

Profile Information

When creating or using an IslamIQ account, we may collect and store information such as:

- username, display name, preferred language, year of birth, selected avatar and other profile appearance information, selected class or archetype, account creation and update dates, and onboarding/tutorial/account-setup status.

We request your year of birth rather than your full date of birth. We use year of birth to determine appropriate age-related privacy, consent, advertising, and service treatment. We do not require users to provide a legal name, physical address, phone number, or precise location in order to play IslamIQ Trivia.

Gameplay, Progress, and Social Information

We collect information necessary to operate the game and preserve your progress, including information such as: questions answered and answer results, match participation and match history, scores and gameplay results, wins, losses, games played, win streaks, XP, levels, trophies, coins, Gems and other in-game balances, achievements and challenges, class, archetype, evolution, progression information, owned or equipped cosmetic items and other inventory, reward and bonus activity, leaderboard and ranking information, friendships, friend requests, game invitations, and related social state, and multiplayer session information.

Some information is intentionally visible to other IslamIQ users as part of the Service. This may include your username, avatar, level, trophies, leaderboard position, gameplay statistics, equipped cosmetic appearances, and your display identity within multiplayer games. Your year of birth is not intended to be public profile information.

Purchase and Subscription Information

IslamIQ Trivia offers digital goods and subscriptions. When you make or restore a purchase, we may process and retain information such as:

the product purchased, transaction or purchase identifiers, purchase receipts or store purchase tokens, transaction status, subscription status and period, renewal, cancellation, expiration, or billing-issue status, and in-app entitlements and benefits associated with the purchase.

Payments are processed through platform stores and purchase infrastructure such as Google Play, Apple, and RevenueCat. IslamIQ does not receive or store your full credit-card or debit-card number.

Notifications and Device Registration Information

If notifications are enabled, we may process information necessary to deliver and manage them, including: push-notification registration tokens, an app installation or device-related identifier, device platform, notification permission status, app version and build number, and information necessary to deliver and manage notifications. You can control notification permissions through your device settings.

Device, Technical, and Diagnostic Information

The Service and our service providers may automatically process technical information including: device type, operating system and platform, app version and build number, internal installation or account identifiers, IP address, approximate location inferred from IP address, crash reports, error information, diagnostic and performance information, and information about interactions with the Service or third-party SDKs.

IslamIQ Trivia does not request precise GPS location, access to your contacts, microphone recordings, or camera access as part of its normal gameplay functionality.

Advertising and Advertising-Related Information

IslamIQ Trivia may offer optional rewarded advertisements through Google AdMob. Google Mobile Ads and related advertising technology may process information such as: IP address, approximate location derived from IP address, advertising or app/device identifiers where permitted, ad impressions and interactions, app and ad interaction information, diagnostic and performance information, and information used for advertising security and fraud prevention. We use age information, consent status, region, and applicable privacy settings to determine how advertising requests are treated. For younger users, users whose age requires additional protections, and users whose age is not sufficiently established, we may apply more restrictive advertising treatment. This may include child-directed treatment, more restrictive ad-content ratings, non-personalized advertising, or restrictions on certain identifiers where required. Where required, we use privacy and consent-management tools such as Google's User Messaging Platform. We also maintain limited records relating to rewarded-ad requests and rewards for purposes such as: granting in-game rewards, preventing duplicate rewards, maintaining game integrity, and detecting fraud or abuse.

Communications With Us

If you contact IslamIQ Inc. by email or another support channel, we may retain: your email address, the contents of your communication, information you voluntarily provide, and information reasonably necessary to investigate and respond to your request.

We use information collected through IslamIQ Trivia to:

• create, authenticate, and maintain accounts

• provide and operate the Service

• save and synchronize gameplay progress

• operate multiplayer games, leaderboards, friendships, and other social features

• provide in-game currencies, rewards, inventory, and cosmetic items

• process, verify, restore, and reconcile purchases and subscriptions

• deliver notifications

• determine appropriate age-related privacy, consent, and advertising treatment

• provide optional rewarded advertisements

• detect fraud, abuse, cheating, duplicate reward claims, and unauthorized activity

• maintain security and account integrity

• diagnose crashes and technical problems

• improve the reliability, performance, and functionality of the Service

• respond to support and privacy requests

• enforce our policies and terms

• and comply with applicable legal obligations

We do not sell your personal information for monetary consideration. We disclose information only where reasonably necessary to operate the Service, provide requested features, protect the Service, comply with law, or as otherwise described in this Policy.

Service Providers

We use third-party service providers that may process information on our behalf or as necessary to provide their services. These include:

Supabase (authentication, database and backend infrastructure, storage, server functions, and account and gameplay data processing

Google (Google authentication, Firebase Cloud Messaging for notifications, Firebase Crashlytics for crash and diagnostic reporting, Google Mobile Ads / AdMob for advertising, Google's consent and privacy-management technology, and Google Play billing and related platform services

Apple (Sign in with Apple, where available, and App Store purchase and platform services where applicable)

RevenueCat (purchase and subscription infrastructure, store receipt and purchase-token processing, subscription lifecycle information and purchase reconciliation.

These providers may process technical identifiers, account identifiers, transaction information, device information, or other information necessary to perform their services. Their processing is also governed by their own privacy policies and contractual obligations.

Advertising Limited information may be disclosed to Google and its advertising technology partners for purposes such as:

• delivering advertisements

• measuring ad delivery and performance

• security

• fraud prevention

• and related advertising functions.

Advertising treatment may differ based on age, region, consent status, device settings, and applicable law. For users who require additional protections because of their age, we may restrict advertising personalization, identifiers, ad-content categories, or other advertising functionality. In some jurisdictions, certain advertising-related disclosures may legally be described as a "sale," "sharing," or "targeted advertising" even where no money is exchanged for the information. Where applicable, consent or privacy-choice mechanisms are provided in accordance with applicable law.

Legal and Safety Reasons

We may disclose information where reasonably necessary to:

• comply with applicable law, regulation, legal process, or lawful government request

• enforce our agreements or policies

• investigate fraud, security incidents, abuse, or illegal activity

• protect IslamIQ Inc., our users, or others from harm; or

• establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.

Business Transactions

If IslamIQ Inc. is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, sale of assets, or similar business transaction, information may be transferred as part of that transaction subject to applicable law.

IslamIQ Trivia may be used by people of different ages, including younger users. We request a user's year of birth so that we can apply appropriate privacy, consent, advertising, and service treatment based on age.

We do not require younger users to provide unnecessary real-world identifying information such as:

• a legal name

• a physical home address

• a telephone number, or

• precise GPS location

IslamIQ may use internal account identifiers, device or installation identifiers, and gameplay information as necessary to:

• authenticate users

• maintain accounts

• save game progress

• personalize gameplay

• maintain security

• prevent fraud or abuse

• diagnose technical problems

• provide contextual or age-appropriate functionality

• and otherwise support the internal operation of the Service

For users under 13, or other users who require additional protections under applicable law, we apply more restrictive privacy and advertising treatment where required. This may include:

• restricting personalized or interest-based advertising

• applying child-directed advertising treatment

• limiting advertising content

• restricting certain advertising or device identifiers

• limiting how information is used for advertising purposes

• and applying other protections required by applicable law or platform policy.

We do not use a younger user's gameplay progress, scores, classes, achievements, cosmetic choices, or similar game-state information to publicly identify that user outside the Service. IslamIQ Trivia may display optional rewarded advertisements. Advertising availability and treatment may differ based on:

• the user's age

• the user's region

• applicable privacy law

• consent status

• device privacy settings

• and advertising-provider requirements.

We use age-related information to apply more restrictive advertising and consent treatment where appropriate. Where required, users may be presented with privacy or consent choices relating to advertising. Available privacy controls may also be accessible through IslamIQ Trivia, the user's device settings, or platform settings where applicable.

We generally retain account information for as long as an IslamIQ account remains active and for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Service. Different categories of information may be retained for different periods depending on their purpose. We may retain certain information where reasonably necessary for:

• fraud and abuse prevention

• security

• transaction and subscription reconciliation

• accounting

• dispute resolution

• enforcement of our agreements

• compliance with legal obligations

• or preserving the integrity of historical game records

Where information no longer needs to remain associated with an identifiable or active user account, we may delete it, de-identify it, or detach it from the user's active account identity. Aggregated or de-identified information that cannot reasonably be used to identify an individual may be retained for longer periods. Third-party service providers may retain information according to their own retention obligations and privacy policies.

You can request deletion of your IslamIQ account from within the App through:

When account deletion is completed, IslamIQ's deletion process is designed to remove the active authentication account and identifying profile information and to remove account-linked information that is no longer required. This includes deletion or removal of active information such as:

• profile identity

• friendships

• notifications

• device-token registrations

• current progression

• rewards

• inventory

• equipment

• and other current account-owned state.

Certain historical records may be retained when reasonably necessary for purposes such as:

• security

• fraud prevention

• billing reconciliation

• accounting

• legal compliance

• or preservation of non-identifying game history.

When such historical records are retained, IslamIQ is designed to detach them from the deleted user's active account identity and remove identifying profile information where appropriate. We also take steps to clean up account information held by relevant service providers. Provider-side deletion or cleanup may require additional processing time. Deleting an IslamIQ account does not necessarily cancel an active subscription managed through Google Play or the Apple App Store. Subscriptions may need to be cancelled separately through the applicable platform's subscription settings.

Depending on where you live, you may have legal rights regarding your personal information, including rights to:

• request access to personal information we hold about you

• request correction of inaccurate information

• request deletion of your personal information

• request restriction of certain processing

• object to certain processing

• withdraw consent where processing is based on consent

• and receive information about how your personal information is used.

You can update certain account information directly in the App. You can delete your IslamIQ account through the App as described above. You can control notification permissions through your device settings.

We may need to verify your identity before completing certain requests. For a request concerning a child, we may need to verify that the requester is authorized to act on the child's behalf where required by applicable law.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information processed through IslamIQ Trivia. These measures include access controls and encrypted network communications where supported by our infrastructure and service providers. However, no system, network, or method of electronic storage or transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

International Processing

IslamIQ Inc. is based in Canada. Some of our service providers operate infrastructure in other countries, including the United States and other jurisdictions. As a result, information may be processed or stored outside your province, state, or country of residence and may be subject to the laws of those jurisdictions. Where required by applicable law, we rely on appropriate mechanisms and safeguards for international transfers of personal information.

Where laws such as the European Union General Data Protection Regulation or United Kingdom GDPR apply, we process personal information on one or more of the following bases:

• performance of a contract, where processing is necessary to provide the Service you request

• legitimate interests, including operating, securing, preventing abuse of, and improving the Service

• consent, where applicable, including certain advertising or privacy-related processing

• and compliance with legal obligations.

Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw that consent where applicable, although doing so does not affect processing that occurred before withdrawal.

Third-Party Services and Links

IslamIQ Trivia may interact with services operated by third parties. Those third parties operate under their own terms and privacy policies. Their privacy practices are not controlled solely by IslamIQ Inc. We encourage you to review the privacy information provided by Google, Apple, Supabase, Firebase, RevenueCat, and other services you choose to use.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to:

• the Service

• our data practices

• our service providers

• applicable law

• or platform requirements.

When we make material changes, we may provide additional notice where appropriate. The Effective Date at the top of this Policy indicates when it was most recently updated.
